Empty Bowls for Daystar Life

Empty Bowls is a community-wide fundraiser that brings neighbors together to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in our community. Guests enjoy simple soup meals, bread, and salads served in handcrafted ceramic and wooden bowls donated by local artists, symbolizing the empty bowls faced by families experiencing food insecurity. Your $30 admission includes your meal and a unique bowl. A silent auction featuring local artists, businesses and experiences will be held in conjunction with this event. Proceeds support Daystar Life’s food pantry and nutrition programs. *Select artist booths will be open during the event- these sales support the artists in residence at The Clay Center.
